![]() Maybe sacrificing Chloe would have stopped the storm, but I wasn't prepared to take that chance, and quite frankly, there are so many different timelines now because of Max rewinding and time travelling, so who's to say sacrificing Chloe would have spared the Bay across all of them? The overwhelming factor here is that in this timeline we have two characters from Arcadia Bay we are familiar with, and it's because of my ultimate decision that two people close to them are dead. A good point, but those other timelines are not the focus here. The original universe goes on undisturbed, with Chloe dead, most likely. It was never at any point in the game the "original universe", so it is extremely easy accepting the consequences of sacrificing the Bay. On the other hand, the ending you chose is just the universe that you let Max go to live the rest of her life in. Yes, it was easy for me to just say "The storm didn't kill everyone. On a side note, Wavelengths has done here what I expected Before the Storm to do, namely challenge my beliefs in choosing to save Chloe. That is why I made the choice to sacrifice Arcadia Bay, why I stand by it, and why I will accept all the consequences that come with it. ![]() Steph might not have had it easy herself, but after everything both Max and Chloe had been through both together and apart, they come first for me above all else. I was shocked and horrified upon hearing this new information, and while I feel a deep sense of shame and regret, I still absolutely refuse to sacrifice Chloe. Anyway, it is revealed that the storm killed Steph's mom, with Steph suffering PTSD as a result, and Drew North, Mikey's brother. Which reminds me, you'd be better off leaving now if you don't want to be spoiled. ![]() Originally posted by BloodHunterX020: Apologies for the cryptic title, but I didn't want to reveal too much right away for those who haven't played Wavelengths. ![]() But he's dead, so is Steph's mom, and that's something I (and Max) will have to live with.
